I am informed by the Government
Printers that it will be more convenient to insert this
plan in the next issue of the Administrative Reports of

71/65-37
this Colony which are to be printed in octavo size than to
reproduce the map prefixed to the last issue of these
reports which were printed in foolscap size. With reference
therefore, to the arrangement, reported in my Despatch No.
27 of the 28th. of last January, by which the copies of the
Hongkong Blue Book Report required for Imperial Parliament
will in future be supplied by Messrs. Noronha and Company,
I have the honour to enquire whether Your Lordship desires
that the map of which the proof is returned herewith
should be prefixed to the copies required for Parliament:
and, if so, I beg to state that 1,210 copies will be
required for parliamentary and 156 copies for local use,
making 1,366 in all, and to request that these copies may
be transmitted to me as soon as possible, and that in
future years a similar supply may be sent so as to reach
the Colony not later than the 1st. day of March.
